Refund Policy for RideCaro

  1. General Policy

At RideCaro, we are committed to providing a seamless and satisfying experience for our customers. If for any reason you are not satisfied with a ride, you may be eligible for a refund under certain conditions outlined below.

  1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued in the following situations:

  • Ride Cancellation by Customer: If a customer cancels a ride within the allowed cancellation period (5 minutes after booking), a full refund will be provided. Cancellations made after this period may incur a cancellation fee.
  • Ride Cancellation by Driver: If a driver cancels a ride, the customer is eligible for a full refund of any pre-paid amount.
  • Driver No-Show: If a driver fails to arrive at the pickup location within the estimated time without valid reason or notification, the customer will be eligible for a full refund.
  • Significant Route Deviation: If a driver significantly deviates from the agreed-upon route without valid reason, resulting in a fare that is higher than estimated, the customer may be eligible for a partial refund.
  • Service Issues: If there are service-related issues (e.g., driver misconduct, vehicle condition problems, or safety concerns), customers may be eligible for a partial or full refund based on the severity of the issue.
  1. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Change of Mind: If a customer changes their mind after the ride has started or is en route.
  • Completed Rides: If a ride is completed without any reported issues or complaints.
  • Minor Delays: Delays that are considered minor or within the reasonable expectation for traffic conditions in the area.
  1. Refund Process

  • Request Submission: Customers can request a refund via the app’s support section within 24 hours of the ride’s completion.
  • Review and Approval: Our support team will review the request and investigate the incident, if necessary. This process typically takes 2-5 business days.
  • Refund Issuance: Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
  1. Special Conditions

  • Promotional Rides:Refunds are not applicable on rides booked using promotional codes, vouchers, or offers, except in cases of driver no-show or ride cancellation by the driver.
  • Corporate Accounts: Different refund terms may apply for corporate accounts. Please refer to the corporate service agreement for details.
  1. Changes to This Policy

RideCaro reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be communicated through the app and will become effective upon posting.
